Tommy Fury has lost a stone in weight after battling a severe illness which has left him unable to keep food down while his partner Molly-Mae struggles to “keep it together”
Tommy Fury has dramatically lost a stone due to a mystery illness.
The boxer has been “completely wiped out” by a “nasty sickness”. The former Love Island star believes he may have had food poisoning or a virus for “over a week” and has been unable to keep any food down.
This comes after Molly-Mae recently shared their saucy bathroom ritual.
On 30 November he posted to his Instagram Stories with a black-and-white image showing him looking dejected while perched on a medical examination bed. Tommy captioned the picture: “I’ve been completely wiped out this past week with a really nasty sickness. Still not sure if it’s food poisoning or a virus, but I’ve never experienced anything like it.”
“I haven’t been able to keep food down for over a week and it’s been ROUGH. Frustrating too because I was the happiest I’ve been with my shape in a long time and I’ve dropped about a stone in just a week. Really missing the gym and training, but right now, I’m just focusing on getting back on my feet. Safe to say I’ve been feeling sorry for myself.”
Tommy said that that his two year old daughter Bambi, who he shares with fellow Love Island star Molly-Mae Hague, has also been hit with the “flu”.
She captioned a cosy snap of her and Bambi snuggled up in bed: “Wow, some weekend that was. Bambi with the flu and Tommy with a sickness bug … and me? Just trying to keep it together.”
Back in November, Molly-Mae – who shot to fame on ITV2’s Love Island in 2019, finishing runner-up with Tommy – confessed to feeling “pressure” to provide Bambi with a sibling. Speaking to Cosmopolitan UK magazine, she said: “I think about it a lot, and I feel a real pressure around it because I’m desperate to give Bambi a sibling. My life wouldn’t have been the same without my sister. I want that for Bambi.”
“But I would never want to do it just for her, I would also want to do it because it is something I want to do. At the same time as being a mum, I also have huge career ambitions and when I fell pregnant with Bambi, my biggest goal was that I didn’t want to lose my identity. I didn’t want to lose myself and my goals and my dreams and my business ambitions because I was becoming a mum.”
