I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here star Jack Osbourne broke one of the ITV game show’s biggest rules and has now explained how he hid his mobile phone from the staff
Jack Osbourne has confessed to breaking a major rule while on I’m A Celebrity – and how he did it.
The podcast presenter, who was join seventh to be voted out alongside actress Lisa Riley, made a shocking admission after leaving the jungle. Following his exit, Jack admitted that he’d smuggled a burner phone with him on his trip to Australia and cleverly passed it off as his main device when producers confiscated his belongings.
This comes after the I’m A Celeb 2025 winner was announced.
Jack’s sneaky trick allowed him to secretly keep his real mobile for hotel use. I’m A Celeb stars are strictly forbidden from contacting loved ones while waiting to enter the jungle, as this could risk giving them access to information about Bushtucker trials and other challenges in advance.
To maintain fairness contestants must surrender their phones upon arrival, reports the Mirror. However, Jack managed to dodge this restriction after arriving late due to flight delays.
Speaking to The Sun, Ozzy Osbourne’s son revealed that he maintained contact with mum Sharon and spouse Aree throughout his stay: “I had work to do, I was doing a bunch of s***. I was calling Aree, I was calling my mum, I was calling the kids. I gave them a secondary phone when I landed. I was like: ‘Yeah, there’s my phone.”
After his jungle departure, Jack also shared the happy news that his wife is expecting their second child together. Aree is currently 28 weeks pregnant and the pair managed to tell Jack’s father Ozzy before he died in July this year.
Jack told The Sun that expecting a baby while mourning his father’s passing had been “healing” for him: “It’s awesome. I think it’s been partly a healthy distraction, partly healing. Probably in that kind of ‘full cycle’ category, in a weird way. It’s very much taken energy out of the grieving side of things and parked in a bit more hopefulness.”
Ozzy Osbourne died in July this year just weeks after his final performance in Birmingham. Prior to entering the Jungle, Jack said he’d been managing his grief by keeping himself occupied.
