Gogglebox star Amy Tapper has wowed fans with her latest Instagram video documenting her incredible eight stone weight loss transformation

Gogglebox favourite Amy Tapper has left fans stunned after sharing a remarkable video showcasing her incredible weight loss journey.

Amy first graced our screens on the beloved Channel 4 programme when it launched in 2013, alongside her family: father Jonathan, mother Nikki, and elder brother Josh. The Tapper clan quickly won over audiences with their witty observations and infectious humour, becoming household names in no time.

However, the family stepped away from the spotlight after Josh departed in 2017 to pursue a career in politics, followed by Amy’s exit in 2018 to take part in Celebs Go Dating.

Following her departure from Gogglebox, Amy has embarked on an extraordinary weight loss journey, regularly updating her supporters on her progress. The television personality has impressively shed eight stone, going from a size 26 down to an 18, reports the Mirror.

Most recently, Amy posted an Instagram video documenting her stunning transformation. The footage showed Amy sporting a blue sports bra and leggings, before cutting to scenes of her putting in the hard work at the gym.

She wrote alongside the clip: “l’ve heard “eat less, move more” my whole life – usually as a dig. So I’m reclaiming it. Teamed up with@chemist4u and @di_fattony_to flip that phrase into something empowering.

“This campaign calls out bullying, shuts down unsolicited advice, and stands with anyone on a medicated weight-loss journey. My journey is personal. Emotional. Mine. This track is an anti-bullying anthem supporting the National Bullying Helpline. Here’s my clap back.”

As anticipated, Amy’s supporters were thrilled by the video and flooded the comments with praise. One fan gushed: “You look fantastic you’ve done amazing you should be proud of yourself.”

Another enthused: “This is epic Amy! Such an amazing and inspirational journey! ! !” A third chimed in: “You look incredible. Hard work and you are killing it! X.” Someone else wrote: “Keep going chick.”

Last month, Amy revealed her intentions to undergo surgery for excess skin removal following her dramatic weight loss. She explained to the Mail: “Unfortunately and inevitably, when you’ve lost as much weight as eight stone, and there’s gonna be more, there’s a lot of skin that is just not gonna disappear with exercise.

“It’s not possible, you know? It’s stones and stones of fat and it’s now just skin. My arms and my tummy are definitely gonna need surgery at some point, but my legs are actually OK.”
