Chilling World War 3 warning as NATO chief declares ‘we are Russia’s next target’

NATO members have been warned by the military alliance’s chief that ‘we are Russia’s next target’ and said Europe should prepare for ‘the scale of war our grandparents and great-grandparents endured’

Fears of World War 3 have escalated once more following a chilling warning from NATO’s chief who claimed “we are Russia’s next target.” NATO Secretary General Rutte called on the alliance to prepare for “the scale of war our grandparents and great-grandparents endured”.

Speaking at the Munich Security Conference, Rutte warned: “We are Russia’s next target. We are already in the danger zone. Russia has brought war back to Europe. We must be prepared for the scale of war our grandparents and great-grandparents endured.”

Rutte says that NATO must act in a bloc, and defend itself against the Russian threat – something he feels too many of the groups allied do not feel enough urgency to solve.

He also spoke of how NATO members need to rapidly increase defence spending and production to act as an increased deterrent to Russian aggression and to prevent such a war from ever happening.

Speaking to the press he said: “We are Russia’s next target. I fear that too many are quietly complacent.

“Too many don’t feel the urgency, and too many believe that time is on our side. It is not. The time for action is now.”
