The reality TV star has hinted at a potential spin-off of her ITV series Bad Boyfriends
Olivia Attwood has hinted that a celebrity edition of her Bad Boyfriends programme could be on the cards providing she can persuade famous faces to take part.
The former Love Island contestant’s ITV reality show sees her tackling a bunch of unsuspecting wayward boyfriends, attempting to transform their troublesome ways for good.
After launching last year and proving a hit with audiences, the series is now back for a second run, and Olivia believes “there is potential” for a star-studded version down the line, reports OK!
“I think there’s candidates,” she revealed. “It might be harder to get them on but I think that there are, you know, there are lots of naughty celebrity boyfriends!”
“I think it would be great viewing,” she confessed.
The 34-year-old also dropped hints about a potential spin-off centred on badly-behaved girlfriends instead of boyfriends.
“I think I’d star in it!” quipped the star, who recently admitted she faces criticism from husband Bradley Dack over her “wild” Ibiza getaways.
Nevertheless, she acknowledged such a series featuring women might prove more challenging to produce.
“We talk about it a lot in development, and I think it’s more difficult to cast,” she explained.
“Because I think, how you would structure and how you kind of would punish the girls, you would have to tailor it to make it, I think, palatable, for it to work.
“And this is really bad but there is something we all kind of… there is something funny about bad boys. It shouldn’t be but there is this kind of like, you’re watching between your fingers.”
Olivia also suggested that it would be “harder to catch bad girlfriends” when they were up to no good. “Because girls on the whole we’re like, a lot sneakier,” she elaborated.
“But I feel like yeah, I would do it, I think it’s just how you do it.”
Discussing the forthcoming second series of Bad Boyfriends, Olivia claimed this year’s batch of men make last year’s “look positively vanilla”.
She noted that with a second series “you can become a bit braver”, explaining: “There’s a lot more depth and I think we explore the reasons for people’s behaviour on a much deeper level. It’s got depth, it’s very funny in parts and it’s very emotional.”
Olivia Attwood’s Bad Boyfriends airs on Sunday September 14 at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX
