World is ‘perilously close to the edge’ of World War 3, expert warns

World War 3 appears to be closed than ever before after Russian President Vladimir Putin made some worrying comments yesterday, and experts are seeing the writing on the wall

• The world is closer to World War 3 than ever before, an expert who was speaking anonymously to AOL hours after Russia’s despotic president Vladimir Putin threatened to attack Europe has claimed.
• The Russian leader made the threat ahead of the major meeting with the US special envoy that included Steve Witkoff yesterday. Putin said: “We are not planning to go to war with Europe, but if Europe wants to and starts, we are ready right now. They are on the side of war.”
• And speaking to AOL shortly after, the expert described as an “intelligence source” issued a stark warning.
• The expert said: “You never want to imagine that it would come to World War III, but the situation in Ukraine has brought us perilously close to the edge. This could go very bad in a hurry.”
• After the tense meeting yesterday, a Kremlin spokesman said that the gathering was “constructive,” but that plans were unacceptable to Russia.
