SECOND: Orgonite tallied fast final fraction when a late-running third in last; added ground should play to strength. Mortal Lock owns speed, gets the meds and needed last; worth long look. Dirand is riding a forward line for Chad Brown; be no surprise.

THIRD: Brew Pub gets confident price boost after winning last by nearly five lengths; pairs up. Timaeus is another that climbs the ladder after winning last; very playable. Stolen Base owns fast figures but plunges in first start since claimed; mixed message.

FOURTH: Best Girl Magic, from a dam that has thrown five winners, debuts for capable Colts Neck connections. For the Ladies fired 5-furlong bullet on Sept. 19; charting a must in field of all newcomers. Clean Winner concluded work tab with 3-furlong bullet; must consider.

FIFTH: Scorch wheels back in a hurry after even fourth on Sept. 25; improvement predicted. Raynham Hall was a game second in last; big-time threat. My Devine One should pack intensified kick with cutback to sprint.

SIXTH: Alimara tallied fast late-pace figure when winning key race last out; more to give. Youknownothing was second to a repeat winner last out; price will be tempting. La Mehana is more than good enough on “A” efforts.

SEVENTH: Shattuck drew off with a flourish when a dominant winner in last; takes another. Social Hour could play out as the speed of the speed with aggressive handling. Dreamlike could be in the garden spot if pace meltdown ensues.

EIGHTH: Snare was empty in last after sharp fourth in prior; turnback to 6 furlongs is key. Irrelevant could secure unchallenged lead with heads-up handling. Repurpose worked three times since useful third in debut; right in the thick of this.

NINTH: Big Imagination, a non-threatening eighth in debut, should move forward as Todd Pletcher reaches for Kendrick Carmouche (7-for-14 in last 60 days). Black Rose is training with a purpose for first start in eight weeks. Candy Moonshine is fleet-footed and could prove tough to catch on a soft lead. Curly Q Girl (improved third in last) and Sharing Wisdom (third in debut) are two more that must be factored into the mix in wide-open nightcap.
