TikTok sensation Elsa Rae has stolen the spotlight on Big Brother launch night, becoming the early favourite in betting markets just hours after entering the house
The race to be crowned this year’s Big Brother champion could already have a frontrunner – and it’s only been hours since launch night.
Speaking on behalf of Online Casino provider Slingo, a representative said: “After last night’s Big Brother launch, we already have a clear frontrunner storming ahead in the betting markets and looking on course to take this year’s crown.
“Twenty-one-year-old TikTok star Elsa Rae stunned fans as she made her entrance and quickly became a hit with viewers at home. With a loyal online following in the hundreds of thousands, Elsa could well have the upper hand this year, as her dedicated fanbase is likely to back her all the way to the final.”
Elsa’s arrival certainly made an impression, with fans taking to social media to praise her charisma and confident attitude. Already, the betting odds suggest she could be difficult to beat, with bookmakers keeping a close eye on how her popularity develops in the coming weeks.
“It wasn’t just Elsa who caught the attention of the public, though. Personal trainer Zelah has also struck a chord with viewers and currently sits just behind Elsa at 9/2. Other early favourites include Gani at 6/1, Nancy at 8/1 and Caroline at 10/1,” the Slingo spokesperson added.
Zelah’s combination of charm and competitive streak has quickly made her a fan favourite, while other contestants like Gani, Nancy and Caroline are also gathering early support, each offering their own unique personalities to the mix.
However, not all housemates have enjoyed a smooth start. “At the other end of the spectrum, things aren’t looking as promising for political commentator Emily Hewertson, who has already divided opinion. She’s currently out at 66/1, but it may not be curtains just yet. Controversial housemates like Emily are often tipped to be first out, yet they usually stick around longer than expected so she could still turn out to be one to watch,” the spokesperson explained.
Emily’s sharp opinions and outspoken nature have already sparked heated debate online, but fans know that in Big Brother, early odds don’t always tell the full story.
With the housemates settling in and the cameras rolling 24/7, viewers and punters alike will be keeping a close eye on how the dynamics develop.
