Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco secretly marry as singer shares snaps of big day

Selena Gomez and her boyfriend of two years, Benny Blanco, have tied the knot in a secret ceremony in California and now people are trying to guess who was there

Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco have tied the knot. The 33-year-old singer-and-actress and the 37-year-old producer exchanged vows in California on Saturda following two years of romance, with the Only Murders in the Building star sharing glimpses of their special day on Instagram.

The post was simply captioned with the date, flanked by two white heart emojis on either side. The upload featured a sweet clip of Selena adjusting Benny’s bow tie before planting a kiss on him, plus snaps of him resting his head in her lap as she sat on the ground. There is a close-up shot of the bride’s white blooms and another showcasing her wedding rings.

Amongst those anticipated to witness the nuptials were Taylor Swift, Paris Hilton, Ed Sheeran, and Selena’s Only Murders in the Building co-stars Steve Martin and Martin Short.

The pair both donned Ralph Lauren creations, with Benny sporting a black dinner jacket as his new bride wore a white gown featuring a halter-neck bodice, floral embellishments and a backless design.

For her hair, the Lose You to Love Me hitmaker enlisted the services of Renato Campora, who washed her locks twice with Joico Defy Damage Protective Shampoo before applying a 30-minute treatment with the brand’s Power Masque. Selena’s hair was then blow-dried with a deep side parting before being gently curled, with the stylist paying “special attention” to the tresses around her face.

Renato told People magazine: “In preparing Selena Gomez’s hair for a celebration of joy, unity, and love, every detail had to be perfect…

“The final result: a flawless, timeless, healthy-looking Hollywood Glamour Marcel Wave Bob for a day that celebrates love, beauty, and perfection.”

Ahead of the wedding, Selena enjoyed a bachelorette party in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, last month, while Benny was in Las Vegas enjoying his own celebrations.

Selena recently praised Benny – who proposed to her last December – for helping her to feel “very normal”.

She told Allure: “I appreciate his heart, his kindness, his quirks … He’s one of the most grounding people in my life, and he makes me feel very normal.”

Although the pair were friends long before they got romantically involved, the brunette beauty doesn’t think she’d have been “mature enough” to have dated Benny until the last few years.

Speaking about her personal evolution, Selena explained: “I don’t think I would have been remotely mature enough.

“It’s weird to think that only five years ago I wouldn’t have been in the right place, but I’ve learned so many lessons [since then] that led me to being the best partner I could be for Benny. And I believe the same with him.

“He’ll say, ‘Gosh, why did we waste so much time?’ And I always say, ‘You wouldn’t have liked me back then.’ I was all over the place.”
