A simulation claims to show what would happen if a chemical bomb was thrown at Donald Trump’s presidential limousine, known as The Beast, and it’s safe to say the results are pretty terrifying
A chilling simulation purports to demonstrate the aftermath of a chemical bomb attack on Donald Trump’s presidential limousine.
As the US president, it’s no surprise that Trump is one of the most heavily guarded individuals globally. The constant threats against him were underscored last year when the 79 year old survived an assassination attempt during his 2024 election campaign.
Trump has faced an unparalleled mix of targeted cyber and physical threats since starting his second term. Bearing in mind the previous incident and lessons learned from President John F. Kennedy’s 1963 assassination, numerous measures are taken to ensure Trump’s safety.
One of the key protective elements for Trump is The Beast, the heavily armoured vehicle that serves as his presidential limo, reports the Mirror US.
When he’s not jetting around on Air Force One or taking helicopter rides in Marine One, Trump travels in the presidential limousine. Tipping the scales at a whopping 20,000 pounds, this vehicle made its debut during Trump’s first administration in 2018 and reportedly cost about $1.5million to construct.
While specifics about The Beast’s security features remain top secret, NBC News reports that the limo boasts advanced technology including a night-vision system, tear gas launchers, and even door handles that can be electrified to deter intruders.
The bulletproof motor’s windows are said to be three inches thick whilst its armour measures around eight inches in depth. Its secure communications network can relay nuclear launch codes, and it boasts a refrigerator filled with the president’s blood type, according to Business Insider.
The limousine is also thought to house its own oxygen reserves that can be fed into the sealed compartment should a chemical or biological assault occur. This capability would come in handy if someone were to detonate a chemical device near the vehicle, as demonstrated in a recent YouTube clip.
Based on the simulation, the instant the explosive strikes the motor “a siren would sound and the Secret Service would be notified”.
The limousine would then allegedly enter lockdown mode, shutting all air vents to prevent outside air from entering. The simulation claims this would activate the motor’s oxygen backup to assist the president’s breathing.
The driver would then accelerate away from the location to escape any looming threat. Spectators were left stunned by The Beast.
“This gave me chills… in the best way,” one commented. Others likened the limousine to a military tank.
“Thats not a car, thats a whole a– tank in disguise,” one remarked. “Strongest tank is there,” a second noted.
A third proposed: “Instead of tanks in ww3 we should have hellcats like this”.
