Coronation Street’s Carl Webster could embark on a third affair in upcoming scenes
Coronation Street fans believe they’ve exposed Carl Webster’s third affair after a huge James Bailey twist.
Soap viewers will know that Carl (Jonathan Howard) has been having an affair with Abi (Sally Carman), who is married to his older brother, Kevin (Michael Le Vell).
Last month, as Kevin prepared to take his family on holiday to Mallorca, Abi lied about losing her passport in order to get some alone time with Carl.
However, their romantic time together was soon cut short when Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford) caught the pair kissing through the kitchen door.
Tracy asked for £10,000 in order to keep quiet about the affair, with Carl declaring his intention to get the cash through stealing cars from the garage.

As Abi flew off to spend some time with her family in Spain, Carl unexpectedly found himself connecting with James Bailey (Jason Callender) last week.
After Carl rejected Tracy outside his hotel room, a naked James was revealed to already be in his bed.
Carl’s chemistry with James has been brewing over the last few weeks after they’d arranged some personal training sessions together, but their newfound connection has left fans speechless.
During Monday’s (September 1) episode, the pair met up again and confirmed that they planned to continue exploring their connection.
Now, several Corrie fans believe that Carl could begin a third affair in upcoming scenes, with many suggesting that it could be with Theo Silverton (James Cartwright).
Theo is currently in a relationship with Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce), with dark storyline on the horizon for the pair as Theo continues to assert control over his partner.
After Todd returned home late on Monday after spending time with friends in the Rovers, Theo lashed out physically before packing his bags and leaving number eleven.
“I’ve packed my stuff and I’m leaving. I don’t ever want to see you again,” he said.
On the possibility of Theo beginning a new relationship with Carl, one person wrote on a Facebook fan page: “Didn’t see Carl and James coming at all. What if he goes to Theo next?”
Another added: “Now Theo’s left Todd (thank goodness!) I could see him beginning something with Carl,” while a third said: “I agree. Carl and Theo could totally be a thing.”
Meanwhile, a fourth viewer shared: “I think Carl’s getting close to James to get Dee Dee to back off with her MOT case. I don’t think it’s real.”
Coronation Street airs at 8pm on Monday, Wednesday and Friday on ITV1 and is available to stream from 7am on ITVX
