Lady Gaga fans have flocked to London’s O2 to catch the opening night of the Mayhem Ball tour’s European leg, and one fan got closer to the star than they anticipated

A Lady Gaga fan was delighted when they got to have an unexpected interaction with the star during her recent London show. Little Monsters flocked to the O2 for the opening night of the Mayhem Ball tour’s European leg, and one was astounded when the performer herself snatched something off them when she walked past.

Lady Gaga, real name Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, shot to fame in 2008 when her album ‘The Fame’ got fans talking. Soon after, ‘Just Dance’ and ‘Poker Face’ appeared in the charts and thanks to them, along with some infamously eye-catching outfits, Gaga became a household name. Now fans have been treated to her latest offering, ‘Mayhem’.

The last thing super-fan Asif, who posts on X as @chromaticagaga, expected when she went to see Gaga, however, was that she’d take something from her.

Posting a video of her and a friend dancing to ‘Vanish Into You,’ the lucky ladies who were standing by the barrier came face to face with the Grammy award winner.

And they’d brought a gift for her, which Gaga accepted and put on.

Looking straight into Asif’s eyes, Gaga took the sunglasses from her as she sang her hit, walking past. The women screamed at the top of their lungs as Gaga put on the decorated sunglasses and continued walking across the stage.

Asif then turned the camera around with her hand over her mouth in shock.

She captioned the video: “Soooooo Lady Gaga just took our THE FAME glasses from Shein, now WHAT.”

She later clarified: “(Black glasses are from Shein, but we glued them ourselves), also not me and bae on the big screen, and me sending her kisses like crazy, love her for real.”

Alongside the caption, she reposted someone else’s video, where they’d written: “The Fame sunglasses? I am shaking”.

People praised Gaga in the comments, with one writing: “I genuinely love how she actively interacts with her fans and makes them part of her every performance.”

“I wonder if she actually just…keeps it,” someone else pondered.

Another said: “She collected the shein glasses mid-performance and made them iconic again. Only Gaga could pull that off.”

Somebody joked that she had “sticky fingers” for taking the items from fans – but of course, that’s the number one thing that fans want when they spend “two hours” embezzling a pair of Shein glasses to look like Lady Gaga’s iconic ones.

“So she robbed you, and it felt special?” a man asked.

“And she put them on?!! You can die happy now,” a woman said to Asif. Others commented on how “happy” she looked when she flipped the camera around – and she was truly in her element.
