The Strictly Come Dancing ballroom was revealed for the first time this year, and fans were delighted to spot a huge change after a small glimpse inside the studio.
Fans of Strictly Come Dancing are buzzing with excitement after noticing a significant change to the show during a sneak peek into the ballroom for the first time this year.
With just over a week until the beloved BBC One dance show makes its return, 15 celebrities are gearing up to strut their stuff on the dance floor and vie for the coveted Glitterball trophy, with one recently praising their partner ahead of the live show.
The professional dancers for this year’s series were announced back in April. Amy Dowden, Nadiya Bychkova, Karen Hauer, Nikita Kuzmin, Neil Jones, and Luba Mushtuk have all been confirmed to participate in the 2025 series.
Joining them will be Dianne Buswell, Katya Jones, Jowita Przystal, Johannes Radebe, Michelle Tsiakkas, Aljaž Škorjanec, Kai Widdrington, Nancy Xu, Carlos Gu, Lauren Oakley, and Vito Coppola, who will also grace the ballroom once again.
Gorka Marquez is slated to take part in the pre-recorded group numbers, although he won’t be paired with a partner this year, reports the Manchester Evening News.
Two new professional dancers will join the returning stars: Alexis Warr, champion of So You Think You Can Dance, and Julian Caillon from Australia’s Dancing With The Stars.

This week saw the new stars, pro dancers, hosts, and judges stepping back into the ballroom as they pre-recorded the launch show. The premiere is scheduled to air on BBC One and iPlayer on Saturday, September 20.
Fans of Strictly Come Dancing were treated to a sneak peek inside the iconic ballroom as hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman announced that they had won a National Television Award during filming.
In a video posted on Strictly’s official Instagram account, Claudia excitedly reveals: “Okay, we have wonderful news. We’ve just found out that we have won an NTA. So thank you!”
The announcement was met with applause from the judges and cheers from the studio audience. Tess added: “We are absolutely over the moon. Thank you so much to every single person who voted for us. We never take it for granted and it means the world.”
Claudia continued: “From everyone here, thank you so, so much. Thank you!” before Tess wrapped up with: “See you on the 20th!”
However, fans noticed a change in the judging panel as Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Shirley Ballas and Anton Du Beke returned.
One person commented: “Congratulations!! Also are the judges all back on one panel together this year?! Thank the heavens if so, they look much more like a team than four individuals this way.”
Another fan observed: “They brought back the old judging table.”
While someone else chimed in with: “Yes the table is back not the individual desks, yay.”
This follows recent comments from head judge Shirley about some tweaks to the upcoming series of the dance competition. “In my nine years of being on the show when I walked in yesterday and saw the set, it was absolutely magnificent,” she revealed on Morning Live.
“There was all sorts going on. You’ll have to wait to watch it unfortunately, but even I had goosebumps all over me and the small, small changes yeah. I’m interested that the viewers spot those small changes.”
Strictly Come Dancing is set to air on BBC One on September 20th from 6:40pm.
