The second All-Stars version of I’m A Celebrity is set to air later this year and the line-up is already looking like it’s going to be a good one with some familiar faces
Nearly three years have passed since the inaugural I’m a Celebrity: South Africa graced ITV screens, showcasing an all-star lineup of unforgettable personalities from previous series.
The next 10 celebrities confirmed for the second All-Stars edition, which returns following its tremendous success last time round.
Hosts Ant and Dec have disclosed that the new series will feature a major twist – the finale will be broadcast live from the UK, giving ITV audiences the opportunity to choose their champion.
Previously, it was Myleene Klass who claimed the “legend” crown in the pre-recorded programme, but this time the public will determine the outcome, reports the Mirror.
But who will emerge as the crowd favourite? While a few additional names may still be announced, here’s our rundown of the famous faces who’ve already begun filming in South Africa.
David Haye
The pugilist finished third in 2012, the year EastEnder Charlie Brooks triumphed, and has since become the face of throuples – referring to a three-person relationship. This should prove fascinating….
The GC
Gemma Collins arrived in 2014, appeared appalled, and departed again after just three days, citing personal issues. So the burning question remains: will she actually enter the camp this time? Only time will tell.
Harry Redknapp
The former football boss charmed viewers by constantly discussing his adoration for wife Sandra and jam roly-poly back in 2018, making him the eldest King of the Jungle in the programme’s history. Seann Walsh.
The funnyman landed in fifth place in 2023, half a decade after he was snapped snogging his married Strictly Come Dancing partner Katya Jones while his girlfriend celebrated her birthday solo at home.
Scarlett Moffatt
The Gogglebox star was crowned Queen of the Jungle in 2016, having been the bookies’ top pick from the get-go. Now a mum to a little one, her Geordie wit is bound to be as entertaining as ever.
Adam Thomas
The ex-soap actor has appeared on just about every reality show out there, so it’s no shocker that he’s signed up for another round in the jungle. In 2016, he was pipped to the post by Scarlett – could history repeat itself?
Sir Mo Farah
Since the renowned, gold-medal clinching Olympian participated back in 2020, he’s disclosed that Mo isn’t his real name – he was smuggled into the UK under a false identity as a child. Plenty of conversation starters there.
Ashley Roberts
The Pussycat Doll was part of the same cohort as David Haye back in 2012, finishing second to Charlie Brooks. She’s previously dated Giovanni Pernice, so perhaps we’ll hear some Strictly titbits?
Sinitta
The singer, famed for her enduring friendship with Simon Cowell, joined the show back in 2011 as a latecomer. Once the voting kicked off, she was the second to be booted out – maybe this time she’ll fare better?
Craig Charles
Corrie favourite and Radio 6 Music DJ Craig had a dreadful experience in 2014, when he departed after just four days upon learning of his brother Dean’s tragic heart attack. Here’s hoping for a more joyful stint in South Africa this time around.
