EastEnders viewers were left rubbing their eyes in disbelief when Callum Highway (played by Tony Clay) received a saucy snap from Johnny Carter (Charlie Suff), following their recent fling.
In the latest episodes of the BBC One soap, copper Callum has been playing away with Johnny, right under the nose of his incarcerated husband Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden).
The long-standing mates took a romantic detour, sharing a few passionate snogs. Married man Callum succumbed to Johnny’s charms and they enjoyed a night of passion at The Queen Vic, betraying his hubby in the process.
But Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) soon sniffed out his son-in-law Callum’s antics and issued a stern warning – steer clear of Johnny or he’ll spill the beans to Ben.

In Thursday’s episode of EastEnders (August 7), Callum was having a chinwag with his step-daughter Lexi Pearce (Isabella Brown) and Jay (Jamie Borthwick) when a text from Johnny pinged on his phone, reports Plymouth Live.
He opened it to find Johnny flaunting his physique in snug swim shorts, posing in front of a beach backdrop with an inflatable rubber ring.
Callum blushed and quickly pocketed his phone, but the cheeky photo had viewers chuckling.
Later in the episode, Jay swiped Callum’s phone and got an eyeful of Johnny’s risqué pic.
After witnessing a flirtatious exchange between the two men, he warned Johnny to keep his distance from the lawyer.
Simultaneously, soap enthusiasts flocked to X to share their reactions to the photo. One fan exclaimed: “THE PHOTO CALLUM JUST RECEIVED FROM JOHNNY!” accompanied by crying emojis.
Another questioned: “WHO THOUGHT THIS WAS A GOOD IDEA? ? ? #EastEnders.”
