England thrashed Wales 3-0 at Wembley on Saturday night as Bukayo Saka shone with a stunning goal that helped to quickly silence his and Thomas Tuchel’s critics
England cruised to a win against Wales at Wembley, with Bukayo Saka stealing the show. A commanding first-half display saw the Three Lions secure a comfortable 3-0 victory over their rivals.
Morgan Rogers broke the deadlock just three minutes into the game, scoring from close range after some fine work from Crystal Palace’s Marc Guehi.
Ollie Watkins quickly added a second to double Thomas Tuchel’s side’s lead after 11 minutes, but sadly had to be substituted following a harsh collision with the post later in the match.
Arsenal’s Saka made his mark on the edge of the box, firing a powerful shot to extend the lead after 20 minutes, leaving Wales struggling to get a shot on target. The second half was equally comfortable for the hosts, who dominated possession as Tuchel’s men rarely looked under pressure.
