The US Congress held its third UFO hearing since 2023 and listened to a number of witnesses, including a military veteran who saw gold ‘plasma’ around a massive triangle
Aliens might seem far-fetched to many people – but it turns out that the US government isn’t one of them.
The US House of Representative today (September 9) heard from people across the country who claim to have seen a UFO. The meeting, called ‘Transparency Relating to Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP)’, saw several witnesses speaking at the Congress about their experiences.
(Just a quick aside, readers – UFOs and UAPs are essentially the same thing and describe an object that can’t be identified.) Chairwoman of the committee, Republican Representative Anna Paulina Luna, claimed earlier in a statement that the US government had been “hiding information from Americans for years”.
She added: “It is time to give Americans the answers they deserve, which is why I am honored to lead this bipartisan task force that seeks truth and transparency.”
‘It’s coming right for us!’
Witness Jeffrey Nuccetelli, a US Air Force veteran, told the hearing that citizens have the right to a truth that “remains hidden” and silenced by “stigma and confusion”.
He claimed that five UFO events happened in Vandenberg, California between 2003 and 2005 and were each was seen by several people.
The first one – on 3 October, 2003 – was when Boeing contractors reported a “massive glowing red square silently hovering” above two missile defence sites, which he said has since become known as the “Vandenberg glowing red square event”.
He added that while on duty that night a few security guards reported the sighting, with his pals screaming: “It’s coming right at us! It’s coming right for us!” and “Now it’s here!”
Illuminating ‘tic-tac’ objects came up from the sea
Another witness, US Navy member Alexandro Wiggins, reckoned something eerie happened on February 15, 2023 while onboard the USS Jackson Navy ship off the coast of southern California.
He said that he saw unidentified flying objects “not consistent with conventional aircraft or drones” and could not be explained by routine matters.
Wiggins added that he witnessed a, “self-luminous tic-tac-shaped object emerge from the ocean before linking up with three other similar objects”.
These four all then sped up and disappeared, leaving him dumbfounded at how they could move so quickly and off the radar.
He told the meeting that declassification and transparency, where possible, are “essential”, and insisted that what he saw should be investigated by specialists because of potential safety issues that UAPs may cause.
Gold ‘plasma’ moving around giant triangle
US Air Force veteran Dylan Borland and UFO witness said he had suffered “sustained reprisals” over his whistleblowing around these sightings.
Back in 2012, he claimed to have seen an “approximately 100ft equilateral triangle take off” at around 1:30am while working from his particular base.
He added that the object seemed to be made up of a “fluid or dynamic” material and stopped 100ft (30m) before he noticed his phone had frozen.
Despite not being able to see the top of the object, which was painted a black metallic colour, he saw gold “plasma” moving around the top of it.
Borland described feeling static around his body and the smell of a thunderstorm in the air.
Last month, at a separate Congress meeting, astrophysicist and aerospace consultant Dr Eric Davis told a committee any of up to four breeds of aliens could be behind a series of UFOs that have crashed to Earth.
The world-renowned scientist – who has worked on top secret US defence projects – named the alien species as ‘Grays, Nordics, Insectoids, and Reptilians’ which he said could all be potential operators of unidentified craft.
Congressman Eric Burlison, a member of the House Oversight Committee and its Unidentified Aerial Phenomena caucus said he had heard the same four alien classifications in private briefings.
“I’ve heard those four classifications discussed in meetings in this office by others. But what I wasn’t expecting was for him to say it.
“I wasn’t expecting Eric Davis, you know, respected scientists, to say that,” he explained.
